Yesterday I watched sophdoesnails latest video on the best makeup under £10 and it inspired me to take a look at my makeup bag and see what I use every day that is under £10. I was actually really surprised with how many products I have so here is my top 10 under £10.

I’m going to start this post with my skin care products. The first thing is a new product that I have been using for around 3 weeks now. It is the Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel shine control moisturiser. My skin has been awful recently and I think it was due to stress but this has really helped clear up my skin. It is only £4.19 and is normally on a 3 for 2 offer. This also doubles up as a matte primer.

The next skincare product I have started using recently is the Tea tree and Witch Hazel Charcoal facial scrub. This is from the same boots range as the moisturiser and it is £4.99. I use this every day in my morning shower and I love it, it’s not too harsh on my skin and really is another thing that has contributed to helping me clear my skin.

The last skincare item is a Charcoal Face Mask again from the same boots range. I use this once a week and you can actually get 3 face masks from the one product. You leave this on for 15 minutes and then rinse it off. I instantly notice I have fewer blackheads and my skin is so soft.

Moving on to make up I think this product is something every single person owns. This is the Revolution Conceal & Define concealer. I have spoken about this before so I’m not going to go too in depth with this. It isn’t the biggest product so I have already repurchased this but for £4 I really cannot complain. I wear the shades C3 and C1 depending on whether I wear foundation or not.

In the background of that photo is the next product I’m going to talk about. Again something I have mentioned in a previous post but it is just so good. This is the Sophdoesnails x Revolution highlighter palette. This is the best highlighter I have ever used and after trying it two of my friends have purchased it. For £8 you get 8 shades that fit a range of skin tones, I can use 5 of these shade comfortably and the rest of the shades I actually use as eyeshadow.

Continuing with base products and Revolution this is the Sculpt and Contour Kit. This little palette has 3 products in it; a blush, highlighter and bronzer. I have this in the shade 01 and it’s is great for travelling. There’s a small mirror along the top and I genuinely cannot believe this is only £3.50.

Next up I have two lip products. The first one again is one that I have spoken about in a previous post and it is from Avon. It is in the shade Wine with Everything and is infused with shea butter and vitamin E and you can really tell when applying this. It’s really moisturising and has really good pigment. I have paired it with the deep plum lip liner from Avon and I find that it stays on for hours. The lipstick is £7.50 and the lip liner is £6.

The next lip product is a Barry M lip kit, I bought this as soon as it released last year and it is great for an everyday lip product. For £6.99 you get a liquid matte lip paint and a lipliner. I bought this in the shade Runway and I really love this, it stays on for ages and is just such a nice colour.

Eyeliner is something that I am always wary of buying when it is cheap. I have extremely sensitive skin and my eyes are the worst affected. The amount of allergic reactions I have taken over the years has been ridiculous. However, this Soap and Glory eyeliner has been a staple in my make up bag for 2 years now. It is so easy to apply as it is a pen although I have found that I now need a primer when wearing this or it does start smudging throughout the day. For £6.50, however, I can’t complain.

The last product is probably my favourite item under £10. This is the Collection Primed & Ready fixing spray. I really wasn’t sure about setting sprays so I decided to buy a cheaper one before splashing the cash on something like the Urban Decay one. I absolutely love this setting spray and I do feel like my make up lasts so much longer using this. This is only £3.99 and I use this every time I am going out for the night.

As you can see Revolution is one of my favourite brand of makeup under £10! Let me know in the comments what your favourite product that’s under £10 is!

  1. You’ve included so many of my beauty favourites here like the Revolution concealer & Supercat eyeliner! I was after that face scrub yesterday but my local Boots didn’t have it! Had such bad skin lately that I’m hoping I can get my hands on some to try and clear it up!

  3. So much stuff that I haven’t tried here that I don’t even know where to start. I used to use that Soap & Glory liner too for a while and I agree, it’s amazing. I really want to try the Revolution concealer ASAP, there’s so much hype! They need to come out with one more slightly lighter shade for me! I love posts like this, they’re so useful! x
