Before I start this post, I took inspiration from The Longing Wanderer and have linked to her post. Her list is completely different to mine so I thought I’d post my own travel wishlist.

For a 21-year-old, I’m not that well travelled. My parents have always taken me on holiday to Fuerteventura nearly every year and although I’m grateful to go abroad on an almost yearly basis I would love to visit more countries. I have been to Paris on a school trip, the South of France with Nick’s family and Cyprus.

So here are the places I am hoping to visit in my 20’s.

  1. Amsterdam, Netherlands.
  2. Bali
  3. Barcelona, Spain.
  4. Berlin, Germany.
  5. Brighton, England.
  6. Budapest, Hungary.
  7. Chicago, Illinois.
  8. Copenhagen, Denmark.
  9. Croatia.
  10. Dublin, Ireland.
  11. Harris, Scotland.
  12. Los Angeles, California.
  13. Malmo, Sweden.
  14. New York.
  15. Orlando, Florida.
  16. Perth, Australia.
  17. Stockholm, Sweden.
  18. Sydney, Australia.
  19. Tenerife, Spain.
  20. Toronto, Canada.

I’m hoping to visit the places in the UK over weekends next year and I’d probably visit most of the European cities over weekends whilst being a student too. Places like America and Australia I’m going to really need to save for but I really hope I can tick all of these places off before I’m 30.

What places are on your must-see list? Let me know in the comments!

I am a 20 year old Marketing Student living away from home for the first time. I will be using this blog to talk about how I've found moving out/away, university and just different interests.

  1. This is a great list with some places in it that I’d love to visit too. I’m actually going to New York in 8 weeks time and it’s an absolutely dream come true as I’ve wanted to go forever!
Dublin is a great city, I’ve been a couple of times now but it is quite expensive, so make sure you’ve got a good amount of spends!

  2. This is such an awesome list! I’d love to visit Bali and New York too. I’d definitely recommend Brighton, it’s such a cool place, I usually go at Christmas and everything is so festive. I went to Dublin for my 30th and had a brilliant time. Hope you get to visit everywhere you want too! ❤ xx

  3. We’re very similar- I think about 15 or 16 of the places on your list I would definitely love to see! Amsterdam and Bali are my main ones, I’ve been itching to go to Amsterdam for so long! Best of luck with your travels, and I can’t wait to follow your journey!!

  4. That’s a huge list but looking forward to your future travel blog posts. I use to have a top 5 cities I wanted to visit and those are the top 5 fashion capital of the world (Paris, London, Milan, Tokyo and New York) but only been to 3 of them. However, 3 years ago my perspective changed. I started compiling a reverse travel bucket list. Basically instead of listing all the places I wanted to visit I do it the other way, visit places and add them on my bucket list if I enjoyed the vibe of the city. A few of the cities that touched my heart are:

    1. Istanbul and Cappadocia at Turkey
    2. Budapest, Hungary
    3. Lake Bled, Slovenia
    4. Algarve, Portugal
    5. The Baltics (Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius)
    6. Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria
    7. Bratislava, Slovakia

More to add but they all did create a big impact in my entire journey.
    Great post.

  5. I love seeing the places people put on lists like this! I’m very lucky that I was a fairly well-travelled child and I’m fortunate enough to have been able to do a lot of typical ‘bucket list’ locations. I’ve always wanted to go to Russia, preferably going to the ballet while there (I’ve never been to the ballet in England os I have no idea why I’m so desperate to go in Russia). I really really want to go to Petra too x

  6. Loving your list, I’m off to Amsterdam next weekend for the first time and I’m spending Halloween in Brighton as I do most years, love a bit of Brighton
