This month I decided to treat myself to a few beauty items I had on my want list for a while. My first purchase was the Revolution Conceal and define foundation. I didn’t think I would use another foundation after finding my perfect one in the Estée Lauder Double Wear Light but I recently started a new job and because I am no longer working early mornings I feel like I need to wear makeup. I also don’t want to wear high-end foundation to a minimum wage job.

I absolutely loved the concealer so when they released a foundation I knew this would be the perfect drugstore one for me. The revolution foundation is only £9 and I purchased this in the shade F3.

The next product I purchased was one of the Soph X Revolution lipsticks in the shade Cake. I love a pink nude lipstick but the only two I have are Clinique and Bare Minerals. I wanted a new cheaper one for work and this is a pretty similar shade. It was only £4 and there are two other shades in the collection.

I have been wanting these two palettes for ages, again both are from the Soph X Revolution collection. I’ve been wanting to branch out from my normal warm eye look and every look SophDoesNails creates with these is stunning.

The first palette has 24 shades in it and the second palette has 18 shades in it. Both have a mirror which is great for travelling and are only £10 each. The shades are just perfect for Autumn!

The last beauty purchase I have made this month is the Lush Snow Fairy body spray. I absolutely love this scent and when I went into Lush on Thursday I just couldn’t resist. I sprayed this on my clothes whilst in store and I could still smell the scent hours later. I won’t be opening the bottle until at least November as it is just too early for Christmas scents. It was slightly pricey at £20 for 200ml, however, a little bit seems to go a long way.

What have you purchased recently? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I’ve been wanting to buy Sophs palettes for ages but I can’t quite bring myself to buy them yet as I don’t wear makeup too often so don’t think it’s justified, loved this post!

  2. Some great buys here and for bargain prices. I don’t really own many items from Make Up Revolution but they are getting so much good press and reviews right now I think I need to go and have a little splurge on them
