As you will have previously read on my blog, I decided to move Universities closer to where I am living with my boyfriend. Choosing to move University and going into second year was so intimidating to me. I wasn’t sure it was the right decision to continue with uni and had even been applying for full-time jobs whilst I considered what I wanted.

Going into the second year, I was worried everyone would already have friends and I would struggle to fit in. I was so wrong. Thankfully the uni I am at many people join the course in the second year from all different backgrounds.

I am so happy with my decision to continue with university.  This time around I have settled right in, the majority of my course is the same age as me. All of the subjects are related to my course and this time we get to work with clients.

This uni is a lot smaller, I think my biggest lecture has 60 people and that has been split into 3 classes so we have time to talk to the lecturer and go over the coursework. I’m really enjoying the course content and it has left me feeling so motivated.

I am so happy I made the decision to move instead of pushing through or dropping out completely. I finally feel settled in the city I’m living in after being here for a year. If you are reconsidering your course or regretting the decision to move far away I’d recommend looking into your options of moving uni. It’s probably the best decision I have made.

What has been your uni experience? Did you enjoy your first year?
