My bullet journal hasn’t really been used for most of the summer, however, now that I’m back to juggling work, uni and blogging I need to be organised.
I find setting up my monthly bullet journal spreads so relaxing and I love taking a few hours at the start of the month finding ideas and drawing. Most of my ideas have been found on Pinterest, Youtube or Instagram. So here is this month’s spread.
The first page of my monthly bullet journal is always some doodles alongside my calendar. This is where I highlight what is happening each day through different colours. It’s very simple but I really love how it looks at the end of the month.
The next page is then my important dates for the month, my tasks and my goals. This is where I’ll write down birthday’s, dates I’m going home etc. The tasks are also my big tasks for the months such as bills or essays.
Since I am attempting Blogtober this month I then have my Blogtober schedule. I do have this fully planned but didn’t want to reveal my full schedule so I have only included what has been posted so far.
I don’t do weekly spreads or a big monthly spread as I find I’m not busy enough for the weekly spreads but too busy for the monthly spread. I tend to split 2 pages into weeks and then write what is happening on those days. I have a separate notebook for my daily to-do list.
Then there is a page for blog ideas, this is sometimes in case I end up hating an idea I have planned to write or something for future months. Across from that, I have my blog goals. I like setting goals as it lets me see how I am growing.
And the last page for this month is my assignment dates. October is always a busy month for me with uni. This is when I have a number of due dates so it’s best that I can plan ahead.
Do you have a bullet journal? What do you include in your monthly spreads? Let me know in the comments!
