October has been a great month for me, I have settled in perfectly with my new university, I’ve joined a society, I’ve made friends and I am really enjoying the course content. October has been a busy one, I’ve barely had a day off but this is thankfully beginning to change. So here is everything I’ve been loving this month.
I was sceptical of this product, I’ve seen people love it and I’ve seen people hate it. However, I didn’t want to wear a high-end foundation to work so thought I would give this a try. If you want to read my full thoughts I did a review earlier in the month. This is a great everyday foundation and I will continue to use it.
Straight fit jeans
I never thought I would ever give up my love for skinny jeans. Until I was in Primark with a little bit of money to spend and thought I would give this trend a try. These were only £13 and I had to size up to a 10 to get the fit I wanted. I think I have worn these every week of the month!
Something I have wanted to purchase for a while but felt would be too thick in Summer is a denim skirt. I have absolutely loved layering this up on colder days. This looks great dressed up and dressed down. This is a size 10 from the Petite section in New Look. My favourite part of this skirt is the pockets are big enough to fit my iPhone in them.
This was a bargain TK Maxx find! I have been wanting a black everyday handbag and I just wasn’t finding the perfect one, I wanted something that would last but was also reasonably priced. This DKNY was an absolute bargain at £50 and it is such a soft leather. It also looks quite small but you can fit way more than you would think in the bag.
This month I decided to cut my hair short. I have been short before but it has been a year since I had my hair cut and I haven’t had my hair this short in years. I did actually intend to go shoulder length so that I could curl my hair but I absolutely love it shorter.
And that has been all of my favourites this month. What have been your favourites this month? Let me know in the comments!
