In January I started this blog as a student that was struggling at university in a new city. I was lonely and unsure if uni was the right decision for me. Having transferred university’s and changing jobs its time to update my blog to reflect this.

I still want to talk about fashion, lifestyle and beauty as I love those posts but I want to talk more about the city I’m living in. Dundee is a predominantly student town and I want this blog to help others find their feet here. There is so many restaurants and things to do in Dundee and I want to share that.

So what can you expect from me?

I am keeping the same domain name but my logo is now EV. This is the first two letters in Everything Evening but if you read it as E.V then it’s also how you phonetically say my name, Evie.

My new logo has been designed by my boyfriend Nick who incorporated the colours of my favourite Nike shoes. I am so happy with it and feel like it fits my blog way more than my previous quickly made Canva logo. I also now have a new blog signature.

There is more to a re-brand than just a new logo design. I’m going to be more consistent with my content. I attempted blogtober and although I didn’t post everyday it taught me how much work and planning I need to put into my blog.

I’m hoping to post 3 times a weeks, Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. There will be no specific topic for each of the days but I am hoping to have one fashion post and one lifestyle post per week with beauty and days out filtered in amongst it.

And that’s everything for my re-brand, let me know in the comments what you think of the new design!

I am a 22-year-old, student blogger based in Dundee, Scotland. I focus on Fashion, Travel, Food and Lifestyle all on a student budget. My blog started as I was learning about the city I was in and wanted to share it with other people who may be moving there.

  1. I always think the first year of blogging is the hardest, cause you gotta find your feet and sometimes a re-brand is the best thing when you know what you want. So nice to hear what you have installed and I wish you just the best.
