This is something I am going to continue with each month. It’s fun seeing what I got up to within a month and I know I’m going to enjoy reading it all at the end of the year.
So what did I get up to in April?
Aberfeldy
We spent the last day of March and the first few days of April in Aberfeldy with Nick’s family at a little cottage. It was great to escape for a few days, see somewhere new and spend time with family. We went swimming, visited Pitlochry, fed ducks from the bedroom window and overall just had a nice few relaxing days.
Visiting Home
We went home for another two weekends in April. One for a birthday party and one for a communion. It’s been nice to visit home so often even when coursework is becoming busy. Especially for big events like this.
Engagement Party
We have booked our engagement party with the help of our parents and are now currently putting together our guest list. I am so excited to celebrate with all our family and friends and am just putting the final touches together. Most importantly though I’ve got my outfit planned and feel like a princess in it.
Uni
April is always crunch time at university and I always tend to leave some things to the last minute. Thankfully I completed a few pieces of coursework before going on Spring break and as I am writing this I have just handed in another 2 essays with only one exam left before I finish 2nd year. Most importantly we have been enjoying the good weather with a few beer garden trips despite the deadlines.
Treating myself
This month I’ve got my nails done, bought myself new shoes and got my haircut. I haven’t had my nails done in 2 years because of work and it was just really nice to have a girly day. I got these done on the 5th and it’s now the 30th and they are still on!
And that’s everything I’ve been up to in April. What have you been up to this month? Let me know in the comments!
Sounds like a fun month! I just uploaded my April highlights too if you want to check it out! x

I love these sort of posts! Sounds like you had a busy April but in a good way! I actually had a pretty rubbish and boring April. But May is making up for it already!

Your April was so much busier than mine! I love your nails! I haven’t had mine done in 5 years – (that all stopped when I had my youngest child) – I always felt so glam with my nails done! xxx
