July was another month filled with full-time work but was scattered with family visits, trips home and some other fun things. So here’s what I got up to in July!

Family Visits

July began with my brother visiting. I was working full time but we still managed to have a trip to the midnight showing of the latest Spiderman movie. Once he went home my Auntie and wee cousin came to visit. This was filled with trips to the parks, ice cream shops, and pizza places. Everything that a 7-year-old and evidently my fiancé loves.

Engagement Party

This month we celebrated our engagement with all of our family and friends. We are planning on having a long engagement, not planning on having our wedding until 2023. So the party was a nice way to celebrate with everyone in our lives.

It was also really nice to spend a few days at home chilling out as we like to try and go home every month / 6 weeks.

Booking our Holiday

We have now booked our second holiday of the year. We are off to Fuerteventura with my family, I would have been going on this anyways however it is nice that Nick is able to join. He can finally see the place that is like a second home to me and I am so excited to be going as I fully relax and switch off when I am there.

This month I have started couch to 5k. I wanted to increase my general fitness and this seemed like the best way to get started. I hate the gym when it’s nice weather and much prefer being outside in the summer. I haven’t been consistent with this so I have done week 1 twice. I have noticed such a difference already and have found the app so helpful.

This month’s nails have to be my favourite set yet. I wanted them to match my dress and my ring for the engagement party and they do that perfectly. I have had so many compliments on this set whilst in work and I think I will be getting this set again soon.

And that is everything I have been up to this month. How was your July? What did you get up to? Let me know in the comments!

  2. Ah congrats on your engagement! Hope you had the best time at your party, your nails are stunning! Best of luck with Couch to 5K too! I found it difficult at first, but eventually I started to look forward to my morning runs. Hope you’re having a lovely August x
