This year I have been trying to purchase clothes that I know I can wear all throughout the seasons. I want to be able to wear my favourite clothes all year round and have become really conscious of the damage fast fashion is doing to the planet. So here are my favourite pieces from summer and how I am wearing them this winter.

Black New Look Playsuit

I bought this from Depop back in March and wore it once or twice before the summer weather kicked in. However in summer, I wore this on a weekly basis, it came on holiday with me and I just loved wearing it. I wore this with just a white tee and my stan smiths.

For winter, I’ve swapped the white tee for a black turtle neck, thrown on some tights and paired it with my doc martens. For a jacket, I have gone for my wool coat, this was from TK Maxx 3 years ago and it’s still going strong.

Purple Bershka Skirt

This skirt has been worn almost weekly since it was purchased in summer 2018. I cannot get enough of it. I love it as a co-ord in summer, it’s such an easy look.

And I love it in the Autumn/Winter months, with tights, my doc martens, a black turtleneck and my black wool coat. I then add my baker boy hat and a scarf on really cold days.

Plaid Shirt

I lived in this outfit through summer! I had lusted after the skirt and shirt since almost everyone had it on my Instagram in 2018. After finding it on Depop, I wore this on a weekly basis.

I’m only looking to transition the shirt as I just want a comfy outfit for chill days. For Autumn I decided to wear the shirt buttoned up and tucked into high waisted black jeans. As the front is shorter than the back I have decided to tie up the front of the shirt. I’ve then thrown on my pink suede air max. For winter I’ll just throw a big jacket on over the top.

What are your favourite pieces to transition? Let me know in the comments!
