The past two months have absolutely flown by especially November. October wasn’t busy enough for a full post and November has been filled with a week of travelling, so let’s find out what I got up.

Little Mix

Something that you might not know about me is that I love going to concerts. Since moving away from Glasgow it’s not as easy to go to as often but I always try to have one or two booked. Little Mix has been on my list for years and they did not disappoint.

I decided to wear my favourite co-ord from Bershka as we were having a night out after the concert. I just paired this with my leather jacket and docs.

Stack and Still

After going to Little Mix we spent the next day in Glasgow. We visited Stack and Still, something that has been on my list of places to try for a while. I got the vegan pancakes and added bacon and maple syrup. It was absolutely fantastic.

Nothing else really happened in October, I was just in uni and working away as usual.

Uni is now finished for the semester. Part of me is gutted as I’ve really enjoyed this semester but another part of me is relieved. If you’ve been following me over on Instagram then you’ll know I’ve not had the easiest time with group work. Thankfully the group presentation is over and despite the crappy grade, I’m just glad it’s done. All that is left now is a 2000 word essay to submit and I can fully get into the Christmas spirit.

November is Nick’s birthday month and this year we decided to kick the arse out of the celebrations and take a week off work to spend it travelling in Scotland.

Our first trip away for Nick’s birthday was Piperdam. We booked a lodge with a hot tub and a sauna for 3 nights along with two friends. I desperately needed this, I’ve been working full time alongside uni and haven’t had a holiday from work since August.

The lodges are so modern, ours even had a sauna inside it which was fantastic the morning after drinking.

Trip Home

After Piperdam we then headed home for 2 days. On Tuesday night we just had a chilled night with families after a slow day of travelling. On Wednesday which was Nick’s birthday, we decided to head to Glasgow for a few hours.

We stopped in at Stack and Still for brunch after I raved about it so much in October.

We then went to the Glasgow Christmas Markets, which was the first proper date myself and Nick had 6 years ago. We just had a little wander through here and took some pictures since we were heading to more Christmas markets this week.

After that, we then went to Paisley’s first Winterfest to spend the evening with Nick’s family.  We went ice-skating, wandered through the Christmas lights and went on the big wheel. Paisley really was great especially for ice-skating since Edinburgh and Glasgow no longer have ice-skating.

Every year we visit Edinburgh for the Christmas markets and this year was no different. We booked a hotel and just spent one night here. We went for food, met up with a friend for drinks, had fun in the Christmas tree maze and went on the big wheel.

And that was everything I got up to in October and November! What have you been up to? Let me know in the comments!
