Bullet Journalling is something I began last year. I only dipped in and out of it but I really did enjoy using it. It’s a nice way to have a bit of creativity whilst still being productive.
This year I have chosen the Leuchtturm 1917 dotted A5 notebook.Β Before setting up this year’s journal, I watched Amanda Rach Lee’s videos of her set up for this year and her flip through of her 2018 bullet journal. Her videos are great for inspiration.
After watching this I looked through my own journal to see what pages I really used last year and to see what didn’t get used. I then made a list of everything I wanted to include in this year’s journal.

So here is my set-up for 2019!
I decided to start my bullet journal with a calendar. This page is really tedious and I recommend writing it out in pencil first as it’s very easy to make a mistake with the months. This is the most time-consuming part of the journal but I find it so useful.

The next page is my goals for 2019. Last year I set 18 goals and although I didn’t complete all of them I still wanted to set 19 for this year, I’ll have a full blog post talking all about it soon.
The next double spread I have is my year in review and places I’ve been.
The year in review page is something I stopped filling in very quickly last year, however, I still wanted to include it. I’m going to put one or two memories from each month into the review page and then I am doing a memory a day page at the end of each monthly spread. The places I’ve been place doesn’t necessarily mean trips abroad but small days out to cities I don’t normally visit etc.
My next double spread is self-care ideas, this is for when I’m stressed out it’s a list of all the different ways I can switch off and relax.

The next 4 pages are all related to my blog. I have two pages for blog ideas and YouTube ideas as I am hoping to start a youtube channel in the very near future. These pages are great as if I’m ever stuck one month I can go and see if there is anything I want to use here.

Then I have a double spread for my growth tracker. This is a great way to reflect on growth at the end of the year. I only ever enter information to this spread once a month.

And the last double page of my yearly set up is my books I want to read / books read page and the movies I want to watch with movies I have watched.

This year I have kept my set up very simple and will be using my monthly spreads to add some colour and more creativity into my journal. Bullet Journalling doesn’t have to be overcomplicated.
Are you thinking about a bullet journal? Or do you have spread ideas that I have missed? Let me know in the comments!

I love how simple this is! You for sure should do an updated bullet journal post halfway through the yearπ
I adore your set up! I especially love the growth tracker! That is super handy!

I’ve always loved the idea of a bullet journal but never quite got around to one. Reading this has left me really inspired – yours is looking fantastic and might have to raid my notebooks to find one I can utilise – thanks!
Such a super cute layout for your bullet journal this year! I’ve been meaning to start one for so long, I just never get around to it!
I’ve always wanted to start a bullet journal and your post has just made me want to do it even more now! I love how simple and neat you’ve kept it. π

I really want to try bullet journalling but I feel like because I’m so messy and uncreative I’d wreck it early on and get annoyed with myself haha! I love your set up though, the self care page is a lovely idea and I love the books and movies tracker! I’m also looking forward to seeing what your 19 goals for 2019 are!

Omg I love Amandaβs spreads! Iβm no artist but I still find her spreads easy to recreate and them not looking too bad! I want to use my bullet journal this year mainly for my blog, so these spreads have given me some inspiration for mine!

That is a great idea! I’m always looking for a better way to stay organized as well as focused. I’m definitely going to have to implement this!
I have watched so many YouTube videos & follow a ton of instagram bullet journalists because they all look so beautiful, but I don’t think I could really keep up with it myself!
