On Wednesday 13th February I was invited along to visit Crolla’s Gelateria in Dundee. This has just newly opened on Perth Road and is a lovely addition to Dundee city centre. There isn’t really anything like this within Dundee’s city centre so I was really excited to go and visit.
Crolla’s Gelateria offers a wide range of sweet treats and desserts but also some typical cafe bites such as paninis, baked potatoes, sandwiches etc. You can find the full menu here.
I know that if I visited with my family everyone would find something to eat even when they don’t have a sweet tooth!
When you walk into the left there are some seats along the window facing out on to the street. On the left is also the counters where you can see the coldstone creations, all the different ice cream flavours on offer and the selection of food on offer.

On the right-hand side is the seating area. This is the perfect size for a cafe and I love the interior. The pictures on the wall are of the history of Crolla’s Gelateria.

On the day that I visited they had a massive selection of ice cream flavours and I really struggled to choose some flavours to try. There was also a small selection of sorbets on offer. There were the typical flavours on offer but also some different / more fun flavours on offer such as Tango Ice Blast, Ferrero, Twix and Krunchie.

Eventually, I chose to try the Tango Ice Blast Ice cream and I was not disappointed. This tasted so good.

I also tried some of the different waffles. In Crolla’s the waffles are freshly made to order and they taste so good. I love waffles both sweet and savoury style but the Caramel Apple Crumble waffle is now my new favourite. You can also create your own waffle if there isn’t one on the menu that you fancy.

I had a really lovely time visiting Crolla’s Gelateria. For having just opened on the Sunday I have never seen somewhere so busy so quickly. There were people of all ages visiting and I can guarantee this place will be a hit with students and school children alike. The prices are so reasonable and this will be a place where I take friends and family when they come to visit.
If you ever visit Dundee, I highly recommend visiting Crolla’s Gelateria.

* This was a gifted event however all views and opinions are my own*

This place looks so good! I’m terrible at ice cream stores. I’m so indecisive and take forever to choose a flavour. The one you picked out sounds super yum though! Thanks for sharing!
I’m the exact same! I always want every flavour
There’s something soooo satisfying about seeing all of them lined up like that. It’s always so hard to choose!! This place looks amazing. Glad the ice blast flavour tasted as good as it looks x

Oh yum! Sweets are my favorite! And this place looks like a fun experience and a treat all in one! I’m always drawn to more chocolatey flavors, like cookies and cream. But that Tango Ice Blast looks so yummy!

I love Crolla’s. The one in Glasgow saw all my spare student finance in first year because I was obsessed with their cookie ice-cream. Love your photography!
Thank you! I think they are going to get all of my spare money too especially as we come in to summer!
The location looks so incredibly cozy, and I can’t believe how many different flavours there are available here! I wish that we had something like here, although I feel like I would spend WAY too much money there if we did lol
It was so lovely, it’s the perfect size!
