This year I finally had a big clear out of my wardrobe. My autumn and winter wear wardrobe has been the same for about 3 years now so it was time for a refresh.

I’ve never shopped that often in H&M but this year it has become my favourite shop. The prices are now roughly the same as Primark but the quality is so much better. They have also changed the sizing and it fits so much better. I am consistently a size XS/S or an 8. I haven’t tried their denim but for everything else, I have found the sizing consistent.

This year I have fallen in love with trousers. I barely wear jeans anymore and love having a basic outfit with one statement piece. Both of the trousers are from the GP & J Baker x H&M collection. This whole collection is stunning.

The first pair is this floral patterned cigarette trousers. I absolutely love the colours and how much of a statement they make. They are so comfortable and can be worn day or night. I like to wear a simple white t-shirt with this and my white stan smiths. The white t-shirt is also from this collection but it has now sold out online.

The second pair of trousers is also patterned cigarette trousers. from the same collection. This time in a black and white pattern. I wear these with a black t-shirt, a bomber jacket and black Nike trainers.

Moving on to proper autumnal pieces, I decided to invest in some knitwear. I love jumpers that can be worn with everything; skirts, jeans, leggings, dungarees. It’s such a lazy, easy outfit but so effective. The first jumper is this pink textured knit. I love having a baby pink knit in my wardrobe. I have so many pink pairs of shoes and I love matching them to a basic outfit.

The second jumper is perfect under my dungarees and with a skirt. Again very basic easy outfit but still looks good. I love the colours in this piece and for only £12.99 I’m so impressed with the quality.

The last piece in this haul is a skirt. One of my favourite looks in Autumn is a skirt, tights, Chelsea boots and a long thick jacket. This skirt is part of a co-ord piece but I’ll be pairing this with a black long sleeve top instead.
